About Stephen
Stephen Bishop is a contemporary artist who has his art studio in the heart of Purbeck in Dorset. His passion is to get under the skin of the natural world and share this through his painting.
He has developed his own unique style and technqiue. Painting is a way of self discovery and connecting with the universe. Stephen's aim has always been to share this sense of wonder in a visceral way. Two of his favourite artists are Vincent Van Gogh and Monet, which makes sense when you see his wonderful handling of oil paint.
Stephen has a growing reputation with many collectors of his art. His artwork adorns homes around the world. He is a friendly and approachable artist who gets tremendous pleasure knowing that people have his art hanging in their homes.
